PEI Plastic

 PEI | ENGINEERING PLASTICS ONLINE

A semi-transparent amorphous thermoplastic, offering superb steam and heat resistance and extraordinary dielectric properties.  Its continuous service temperature is around 170 degrees Celsius.  It is suitable for the applications requiring high strength and rigidity in elevated temperatures.

PEI IS USED FOR: PERFORMANCE CHARACTERISTICS:
  • Microwave exposed parts
  • Electricity insulating parts
  • Glass manafacturing equipment parts
  • Steam cleaning equipment
  • Heat insulating sleeves
  • High heat
  • Steam resistant
  • Excellent Dielectric strength
  • Non flammability

 Caution...

1. Due to the characteristics of non-crystalline plastic, it has relatively weak chemical resistance, creep resistance and wear resistance.

2. Notched area, such as corner and edge, should be rounded to prevent crack.
